The Grounds

The Woodstock Inn is sublimely situated on 3 acres just a short stroll from quaint Tinker Street and the village green of one of America’s most celebrated small towns.  The centerpiece of the Inn is the cascading Millstream, which gracefully flows down 1000 feet of rocky river bed, splashing from pool to pool.

Bordered by tall pines, willows, and maples, our luscious lawn is the place to bask in the sun.  Or relax in your Adirondack chair on the bluestone patio perched above the gurgling white water.  The lazy comfort of a hammock slung between two pines will call you for that afternoon nap you’ve been wanting to take.

Our wildly exquisite gardens are our trademark and not to be missed!  Fairy roses, echinacea, day lilies, peonies, hydrangea, Russian sage – the list both common and exotic goes on and on.  In autumn, our full maples provide their annual spectacle of Catskill color.  Winter’s falling flakes brings a quiet loveliness to the landscape and to the icy, dancing stream.  Our wonderful balance of natural and cultivated beauty are a bucolic paradise that will soothe your soul!
