Meet the Innkeeper
Karen Pignataro is as much a fixture at The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream as the stream – and both are steady and beautiful. She’s been here almost 20 years, arriving via a route she never expected to take. In 1994 Karen was in between lives, having moved back to the US after four years abroad. She landed in NYC, fully expecting to continue her career as an art historian. The universe had other ideas. While she was well educated and had an impressive resume, doors were not opening. But then an ad appeared in both the NY Times and the Village Voice…she answered. Thank goodness!
Karen’s version is more succinct: “Here I am living an incredible, wonderful full life as the Innkeeper at The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream. Many guests speak of the “energy” of this little town…and even this piece of paradise by the ol’ Millstream. Well I can attest to the fact that there really is something special going on here and it is my honor and privilege to be a part of it and to welcome you to our home.”
