Wow! We just got back from Alchemy of Woodstock’s Wednesday night open mic (www.myspace.com/alchemyofwoodstock and we were blown away by a bunch of musicians—Swati (www.myspace.com/swatilive) did one song–and everyone wanted to hear a lot more! Don’t fear–she will be playing this Friday 8/14 (happy birthday Andrew!) at Alchemy–it’s simple–DON”T MISS HER! Iwas also blown away by John Holt–ok, so I am biased–but I wasn’t the only one! He did a new tune written yesterday on the mandolin (thanks Margie!) I can only hope I get to sing back up on it.
